About Dr. Zhanna M. Pinkus
Bio
Zhanna M. Pinkus, MD, shares her passion for health and wellness with the women of the Newport Beach, California, community at Newport Center Women’s Health. As a dedicated OB/GYN, she enjoys the privileges of establishing long-term patient relationships and navigating complex gynecologic procedures.
Dr. Pinkus immigrated with her family to California from Russia when she was 10 and quickly adapted to the colorful California culture. She graduated with honors with a degree in biology from the University of California at Irvine.
From there, Dr. Pinkus attended Albany Medical College in New York and returned to California to complete her medical training. She served her residency in obstetrics and gynecology with the Kaiser Sunset Residency Program.
After completing her medical training, Dr. Pinkus worked in private practice for 10 years in Torrance, California. She served as chair of the OB/GYN department at Little Company of Mary Hospital and maintained staff privileges there and at Torrance Memorial.
A new career move by her husband afforded her the opportunity to return to her roots in Orange County, where she joined Newport Center Women’s Health. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors there when she isn’t attending to her patients’ needs.
Dr. Pinkus enjoys hiking, skiing, and cooking during her time off. She spends as much time as possible with her husband and two active young children.
