About Dr Wei Wang
Bio
Dependable. That is one word that best describes Dr. Wang and his role as a physician. He strongly believes that everyone is entitled to a physician who will be their partner though every life stage and wants his patients to know that they can count on him for reliable and high-quality care.
Dr. Wang chose to be a primary care physician in order to enable his patients to get the most out of life. He strongly believes in prevention to maintain good health as well as working with patients to mitigate small problems before they become a bigger concern. He enjoys internal medicine as it allows him to practice a wide depth of knowledge and treat a variety of conditions.
As Dr. Wang states, “I really love my job and the best part is the people.” He takes the time to listen to his patients, gain their input and formulate a plan together to help his patients reach their health goals. He enjoys learning about his patients – their culture, background, hobbies – so he can personalize his approach to their health care.
Fluent in English and Mandarin, Dr. Wang attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his residency at Summa Akron City Hospital. He is excited to relocate to Southern California and serve the local community.
Outside of work, Dr. Wang and his wife enjoy playing with their 3-year old Maltese, rooting for Cleveland sports teams, and exploring restaurants.
