Shane A. Lloyd

Dr. Shane Lloyd earned his bachelors degree in pharmacology and therapeutics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Lloyd completed his medical doctor (M.D.) degree at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He concurrently completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cellular and Molecular Biology, studying the effects of radiation on the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Lloyd went on to complete a medicine internship at Bassett Medical Center in New York, as well as his Radiation Oncology residency at the University of California, San Francisco where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Lloyd is highly trained in many advanced radiation oncology modalities, including stereotactic body radiation therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, IMRT/Tomotherapy and brachytherapy. Dr. Lloyd has a special interest in treatment of the central nervous system, breast, and gastrointestinal tumors.

Dr. Lloyd has received numerous honors and awards and has been published in books and many peer review publications.
