Raymond K. Chan

Drawing inspiration from his childhood physician who always demonstrated care and compassion, Dr. Chan chose a career as a physician where he could emulate the same care model and become a trusted resource for his patients.

Dr. Chan selected family medicine as he enjoys the continuity of care and the ability to treat multiple generations of the same family. He employs a comprehensive approach when addressing his patients with the goal of looking at the whole person, not just the symptoms. He also enjoys relationship building with the wide range of patients he encounters.

His approach to patient care is focused on the individual and what is important to them. Dr. Chan understands that each patient has different circumstances and priorities and therefore, he creates custom-tailored solutions for each person with their specific goals in mind. As he states, “I take the time to listen to my patients to ensure I have a full understanding of their needs. I appreciate that I can make a difference, and this is most successful when I work with my patients as a team.”

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Chan chose to pursue additional training in geriatric medicine to provide his senior patients with exceptional care. He attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean, completed his family medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and completed his geriatrics fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles.

During his time away from the office, Dr. Chan enjoys traveling, reading, and swimming.
