Heather R. Macdonald

Dr. Heather Macdonald is the Medical Director of the High Risk Program at Hoag Breast Center Irvine and Assistant Clinical Professor of ObGyn and Surgery at Keck School of Medicine at USC. As a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist (ObGyn) and fellowship trained breast surgeon she is unique and provides a holistic approach to women’s reproductive health. In her practice, Dr. Macdonald focuses on breast disease diagnosis, surgical management of breast cancer, high risk patients and inherited breast cancer syndromes. She is also an expert in gynecologic issues related to breast disease including menopause, contraception, fertility preservation and inherited breast and ovarian cancer syndromes. Her clinical expertise includes oncoplastic breast conservation, skin and nipple sparing mastectomies, intraoperative radiation therapy techniques.
