Candace N. Howe

Candace Howe, M.D. is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. Dr. Howe completed her medical school and residency at the University of CA, Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine. She served in academics as an attending physician at the UCLA affiliated family medicine residency program at the Ventura County Medical Center. Nearly five years later Dr. Howe moved to Orange County and began a private practice with a goal to create a more patient focused environment. Now, 7 years later, she is thriving on the relationships she has developed with her patients and has found incredible fulfillment personalizing her care for women as a specialist in a field that incorporates specialty care in the areas of pelvic pain, menstrual abnormalities, hormonal disorders, high risk pregnancy management, infertility counseling and in addition she often provides primary care and supports the whole woman in order to make a more lasting and drastic improvement in her patients’ health. In addition Dr. Howe is a surgeon and focuses her skills on laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and other minimally invasive surgical therapies when needed. Dr. Howe’s goals are to give thorough, compassionate and evidence based care to her patients.

Dr. Howe is a recipient of the OCMA Physicians Excellence program. In addition, she continues to teach through the PA program at the USC Keck School of medicine and through various nursing programs. She serves on the OB Core at Hoag Presbyterian and the MEC committee at the Newport Beach Surgery Center.
