Alireza Amirpour

Empathy is a word that describes Dr. Amirpour’s approach to medicine. His passion is fueled by the opportunity to positively impact the lives of as many people as possible while facilitating their journey towards a better quality of life.

From a young age, Dr. Amirpour observed the profound impact chronic illnesses had on individuals close to him. After witnessing the complications of endocrine diseases both within his own family, and patients during residency, an interest was stirred in Dr. Amirpour which led to selecting the field of endocrinology. Those first-hand experiences ignited a desire in him to alleviate patients suffering and improve their quality of life.

Compassion and continuous learning are crucial values that guide Dr. Amirpour both in his personal and professional life. When it comes to his love of caring for people, Dr. Amirpour feels honored to watch the transformation in his patient’s well-being and happiness. He believes in a collaborative approach to health care. With a distinction award in quality patient care, Dr. Amirpour believes in empowering his patients to make informed decision about their treatment through education.

Fluent in Farsi, French and Spanish, Dr. Amirpour received his medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Iran, and completed his residency at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Amirpour completed his endocrinology fellowship program at Harbor-UCLA/City of Hope in Los Angeles, California.

Outside of the office, Dr. Amirpour finds joy in being with his family. He cherishes the quality time he spends with them hiking in nature. Apart from family time, he also enjoys assembling computers.
